Back in 2013, Mikaela Shiffrin won the World Championship slalom title at age 17 years and 340 days. She became the youngest world champion since Diann Roffe (US) won the world title in Giant Slalom at the Bormio World Championships in 1985. Roffe was 21 days younger than Shiffrin at the time she won gold in Bormio.
