China’s Highest Standard Container Berth Put into Operation at Ningbo-Zhoushan Port
China’s highest standard container berth was put into use at the Beishan Port area of Ningbo-Zhoushan Port in east China’s Zhejiang Province on Friday, as it received the largest container vessel on earth.
The No.7 Berth is a 200,000 ton-class container berth with a total length of 459 meters and a width of 59 meters.
The HMM Algeciras, the world’s container ship with 23,964 TEU containers, will set off for Europe along the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road after it unloads 1,106 containers and loads 4,745
