Meet One of the World’s Best Freedivers, Who Has Dove Over 800 Feet In One Single Breath

Alexey Molchanov is one of the best freedivers in the world. In March 2021, he broke another freediving world record, swimming 80 meters (262 feet) beneath an icy surface in southern Siberia. In 2008, he got his his first world record in a pool discipline, in which he swam 250 meters (820 feet) underwater with a monofin on one breath.
