The Cambridgeshire - Newmarket (1924)

Newmarket, Suffolk. Title: “The Cambridgeshire. ’Twelve Pointer’ - ridden by Carslake - scores popular victory“. M/S of horses and jockeys being led out between a gap in a tall fence past a crowd of onlookers. L/S of horses lined up for the start of the race, panning shot follows them as they set off across the field. High angled panning top, taken from the top of a spectator stand, of the horses racing around the race course. M/S of the winning horse and jockey being led across a field towards the camera, stable-hands crowd around to congratulate them, a man in a bowler hat holds the reigns (the trainers?). Something then appears to annoy the jockey and he takes a swipe with his riding crop at the man in the bowler hat, the crowd of stable hands disperses and the jockey rides off with the other jockeys, shouting over his shoulder - very odd!
