There is a sonnet for each of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, probably written by the composer himself. And the sonnets are each divided into three parts, accompanying each movement of each season.

Shivering, frozen mid the frosty snow in biting, stinging winds;
running to and fro to stamp one’s icy feet,
teeth chattering in the bitter chill.
