Why are Russians not loved? Why has every Russian turned out to be an enemy for the West?

We know that Americans opposed the Soviet Union, and US President Ronald Reagan, in his speech to the National Association of Evangelicals in the United States, called the USSR an “evil empire“. But never has there been so much outright Russophobia towards the people of Russia.
