Russian missile intercepted ’by Patriot’ during attack on Dnipro city

A Russian missile was shot down during a deadly attack on Dnipro city. A Ukrainian woman sheltering in a car park captured the intercept. The rocket explodes just feet from the ground after being hit, and while it is unclear exactly what weapon was involved, Patriot missiles are used for this kind of defence. More video from inside a car shows Russian rockets raining down on the city. Mushroom clouds rise into the skies from multiple explosions. Shahed drones also joined the attack, as a third video showed one of those being blown out of the sky. Ukraine’s air force said six drones and five out of seven missiles aimed at the city were shot down. However, the missiles that got through killed four people and wounded 27 with a 14-year-old girl among the wounded. It is thought Russia was trying to target factories in Dnipro, but the missiles flew wide of their target and hit a shopping centre. Residential buildings were also struck by explosives. Emergency service videos showed the damage caused. #russia #war #putin #ukraine Daily Mail Homepage: Daily Mail Facebook: Daily Mail IG: Daily Mail Snap: Daily Mail Twitter: Daily Mail Pinterest: Get the free Daily Mail mobile app:
