Some good shots of the local night time carnival and fair in Rye, East Sussex. Various shots of the night time fair. We see shots of people standing around a side show placing money on cards, people carrying balloons, a boy pulling the lever on a one armed bandit and various stalls, steam pipe music is playing in the background. The action moves to the main carnival. The Beauty Queen moves past the camera on a large decorative float, there are also many other floats of different shapes and sizes. A “ragging“ student passes down the road in a large bed dragging a potty behind him. The film ends with more shots of more floats this time in the shape of ships and dragons.
