How to Make Anime FACE in Blender Explained! + Custom Shadows

Blender 3.3 (Goo Engine version for eyelashes/brows through hair) ✨ Patreon: This is my method I use for modelling anime style faces and heads (eyes and hair not included - they will be in the next video(s)). I model purely from scratch and without subdivision surface modifier to have better control of the placement of faces and special structures in the face. You may use subdivision surface if you want, but if you want the specialized mouth area then you must apply it before you model the mouth area. If you don’t want/need the specialized mouth area then by all means, you can use subdivision. This method was completed without the use of a template / reference sheet but feel free to use one. We modify certain areas of the face mesh to properly display our desired shadow shapes as well as the mouth area to allow for more dynamic deforms and mouth poses.
