WW2 footage of US Marines flying F4U Corsairs along with Navy aircraft from Vice Admiral John S. McCain’s Fast Carrier Task Force of the Third Fleet striking Japanese airfields on the island of Formosa (Taiwan). Not much footage of the raid, but quite a few takeoff and landing accidents by the airplanes are shown. According to the narrator, this footage is from January 3-4, 1945.
