The World Is My Parish (1938)

Soundtrack is currently missing for this item. A tour around places in England relevant to the life of John Wesley, founder of Methodism. Titles read: “THE WORLD IS MY PARISH“. Several shots of a windmill in a field. Then various shots of buildings, houses, a church and quiet lanes in a village. Inside the church we see a clergyman walking about; outside in the graveyard we see some gravestones. (Could be Epworth, Lincolnshire, where John Wesley was born.) In a busy street in London we see a plaque relating to John Wesley (looks like it is on a Barclays Bank) and several shots of a house where John Wesley lived. Exterior and interior shots of Wesley’s Chapel with a statue of him outside - could be the Foundry at Moorfields in London. In another countryside location we see the Wesley Memorial Church with another statue of the man outside. Does anyone know where this is? FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ.
