Worshipping nature with the Altai - BBC News

BBC’s Pop Up team is in Russia. For the past month, they’ve been travelling across the country filming stories suggested by viewers on social media and by Russians they’ve come across on their travels. The Altai people - who live in the Altai Republic in southern Siberia - are one of the hundreds of ethnic groups in Russia. They have been part of the region for 300 years. BBC Pop Up went to visit an Altai woman, Baba Tasya, to talk about her work and the Altai relationship with nature. This story was suggested through the #bbcpopup hashtag on Twitter.
