Crimea hit with ’Storm Shadow’ missiles as Russian cities burn in sabotage attacks
Russia continues to suffer a wave of sabotage attacks thought to be carried out by Ukraine.
A department store in Buynaksk burst into flames on Thursday in Dagestan. The cause of the blast is not yet known, but Kyiv is thought to be orchestrating sabotage attacks against Russian factories and key infrastructure. Ukraine is also hitting Crimea hard, including with British Storm Shadow missiles. Another strike took place on January 31, with dramatic footage shows the missile flying through the air before it hits its target and a huge fireball erupting afterwards. Meanwhile in Chelyabinsk, a power station blew up leaving residents without electricity during freezing winter conditions, with temperatures plummeting to -15°c. In another attack in St Petersburg, Ukrainian drones hit Nevsky Mazut power plant causing damage to infrastructure and nearby cars.
