Well would you look at my girl this morning!! Still has fear, but much more confident!! Man! That invisible lead rope of trust is a strong one!! Im so so proud of you Genny! You are coming right long! “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand“. Isaiah 41:10 Genny, my rescued auction horse has a fear of the barn from her past experiences before I got her. Never underestimate the power of quiet, patient, gentle love. 7.5 months. That’s how long it has taken to build enough trust for such a breakthrough. Whatever fear you are facing today, remember Genny. Her body and actions tell a story of a not so loving past. Be strong, face your fears, overcome and walk courageously from darkness into the light. God is walking right beside you. Genny, short for Genesis, is my 14-year-old Belgian draft horse that I rescued January 5, 2024, at an auction where she was headed to the slaughter pipeline. She came from the Amish and was then bought by a trader who brought her to the horse auction hoping to sell her to the kill buyer. But God had a different plan. This is her new beginning.
