Special livestream: Decision at the ICJ

In an historic and much-anticipated decision, the International Court of Justice in The Hague on Friday ordered Israel to halt with immediate effect all killing and other genocidal acts against Palestinians. We were joined on our livestream by Susan Akram to help us understand the decision and how it may impact the dire situation. Susan is director of Boston University Law’s International Human Rights Clinic. She has taught at the American University in Cairo and at Al-Quds University and Birzeit University in Palestine. Among her dozens of books and scholarly articles, Susan Akram is co-editor, with Michael Dumper, Michael Lynk and Iain Scobbie, of the volume International Law and the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict: A Rights-Based Approach to Middle East Peace.
