Mercedes ’Silver Arrows’ at Festival of Speed: W125, W165 & W196 R in action!

This is a compilation about some Mercedes ’Silver Arrows’ race cars I saw during the 2018 and 2019 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Car list and specs: - Nº2 Mercedes-Benz W125 ( 0:58, 1:52 etc): 1937 Grand Prix car, supercharged straight-8 engine with 590hp in race trim and 860 Nm of torque. 750 Kg. - Nº16 Mercedes-Benz W165 ( 0:00, 2:03, etc): built in 1939 for a single race, the Grand Prix of Tripoli, and raced in the Voiturette class, formula cars with engine. Mechanically supercharged V8 engine, with a max power of 254 hp at 8,000 rpm. It was driven by Hermann Lang and Rudolf Caracciola. - Nº8 Mercedes-Benz W196 R ( 0:37, 1:32, etc): 1954 and 1955 Grand Prix car, it was driven by Juan Manuel Fangio and Stirling Moss.
