Today I propose to consider one of the aspects of a large–scale multi-year campaign to turn Russians into inhumans. It was initiated more than several decades ago by the British. Over time, other European countries joined it, then the USA and eventually Ukraine. It is worth noting that despite more than a century of experience, modern Ukrainian performers of the idea of “turning“ a Russian person into a “bloodthirsty orc“ still use the old European manuals that they were taught at numerous NATO courses. The essence of the work can be described by the formula – “minimum facts, maximum emotions“. This principle has been the basis of Anglo-Saxon propaganda and mass media throughout the XX and XXI centuries. I have divided the investigation into two parts. In the first, you will learn the historical context, vivid examples of propaganda that was used during the First and Second World Wars. I am sure you will find many similar parallels with the headlines of modern Ukrainian media.
