F. Chopin - Nocturne Op. 55 no. 1 in F minor

F. Chopin - Nocturne Op. 55 no. 1 in F minor Performed by Aaron Dunn. #Chopin #Nocturne #classicalmusic #Chopin Nocturnes op. 55 (composed in 1843, published in 1844, dedicated to Jane Stirling) are diverse. The first of these is close to the earlier plays of this genre, based on dramatic contrast. The second reveals some typical features of the creative features of the third period. Nocturne f-moll. The stubbornly and repeatedly repeated intonation of the first two bars (a characteristic turnover of the sentimental-romantic type) is contrasted with the dramatic accents of the middle part and the bright appeasement of the coda. The nocturne contains many intonational rehashings from earlier works by Chopin (bars 17-20 - compare the middle part of the impromptu As-dur; bars 22-24 - compare the trio of the funeral march from the b-moll sonata; bars 65-67 - compare the first theme of the same march ; measure 89 and beyond - compare the end of the F-moll fantasy). The presence of a number of such rehashings testifies to the use of already beaten paths. The final chords of the nocturne are somewhat reminiscent of Liszt’s cadences. --------------------------------------------- If you need help finding sheet music or want to help the channel🙏, you can become a sponsor of my YouTube channel “Listen to Musical Notes“ at the link: 👉 or make donations of any amount to the development of the project in Paypal: 👉 You can also click on the “$Thanks$“ button under any of my videos.
