A statement from the event promoters: “We would like to confirm that Eric Clapton and his band played their full set at the Hydro on Saturday night, despite severe technical problems which fortunately did not affect the sound for the audience but made it very difficult for those on stage to perform. The only number affected was the last song of the main set, Cocaine, which was impossible to finish because of increasing sound issues. After the band left the stage, the problems were rectified sufficiently for them to return to play the closer, High Time We Went.
