Rieding: Air varié, Op. 23 No. 3

Oskar Rieding (1846-1918) was a german violinist and music teacher. He composed easy violin concertos for beginners, including the well-known Concerto op. 35 in B minor. He also published many salon works for violin and piano. This “Air Varié“ for violin and piano is the No. 3 from “4 leichte Vortragsstücke“, Opus 23, and is a very suitable violin piece for intermediate players.
