“Habanera,“ from Carmen - Georges Bizet

One of the most memorable tunes from Georges Bizet’s opéra comique Carmen, the Habanera is a flirty aria sung by the gypsy woman, Carmen, who is the central figure in the opera. Based upon a form of Cuban folk music popular in Europe at the time, the piece lends itself well to the solo guitar. Arranged and performed by Emre Sabuncuoglu.
