PART 3 OF 3. A quality example of the older-generation export radios out there. This particular radio was made in Malaysia. Radio is a multi-mode transceiver capable of AM, FM, SSB (USB/LSB) and CW modes. Frequency coverage is the de facto standard export radio bands. Radio uses a low and high band selector for band/frequency selection. Low band coverage is: Band A: 25615-26055, Band B: 26065-26505, Band C: 26515-26955. High band coverage is: Band D: 26965-27405 (US FCC CB band, or “mid band“ or “CEPT“ EU or Euro FM band), Band E: 27415-27855, Band F: 27865-28305. Radio uses the Ranger EPT3600 board, version EPT3600-14C. The 3600 board is one of the most common main chassis types used for export radios and is used on Ranger/RCI, Galaxy, Superstar, CRT Superstar, Dirland, President, Mirage and General Lee radios.
