CARNIFEX follows Bailey (The Royals’ Alexandra Park) an aspiring documentary maker, as she joins conservationists Grace (Vampire Academy’s Sisi Stringer) and Ben (Hacksaw Ridge’s Harry Greenwood) to travel deep into the Australian outback to track and record native animals left displaced and devasted by recent bushfires. As night falls, the unsuspecting trio discover a terrifying species – the carnifex, and soon find themselves the ones being tracked. Exploring the potentially terrifying impacts of climate change, CARNIFEX is an elevated creature feature that will do for the Australian outback what JAWS did for the oceans. ‘CARNIFEX’ WILL BE AVAILABLE IN AUSTRALIAN CINEMAS NATIONALLY ON DECEMBER 1ST 2022
