Sandra & Andres was a successful Dutch-Indonesian pop duo consisting of Sandra Reemer and Andres Holten. As a duo they had nearly thirty singles released. In 1967 / 1968, their single “Storybook children“ was released on the Philips label and became their first hit. In 1972 they represented the Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest with their song “Als het om de liefde gaat“. Holten co-wrote the song with Hans van Hemert. This single reached #3 on the Dutch Top 40 on March 18, 1972. Their final single “Oh, Nous Sommes Tres Amoureux“ was released in 1975 andreached #4 in the Dutch Nationale hitparade. ’Let us pray together’ is their second single, written by Piet Driessen in an arrangement of Dries Scholten.
