Follow ► The inspiration behind this video: Trailers for Ahsoka have teased the possibility Ahsoka has been training her fellow rebel Sabine Wren as a Jedi. A person doesn’t actually need the Force to be a Jedi; Master Yoda himself has trained students who have no Force-potential. It’s possible Ahsoka has been training Sabine in Jedi customs, even if she cannot connect to the Force. It would be very strange indeed if Sabine were to be retconned as Force-sensitive throughout Star Wars Rebels, given this would mean none of her Jedi friends noticed. Lars Mikkelsen plays the live-action Grand Admiral Thrawn, the military strategist lost in Star Wars Rebels’ finale and now sought after by both Ahsoka and Elsbeth. It’s likely Thrawn will only have a small role in Ahsoka, with the Disney TV show instead setting the stage for his appearance in an upcoming Star Wars movie by Dave Filoni himself.
