MINI Paceman Concept

With the North American International Auto Show just around the corner, MINI has released the first details about the Paceman concept. Essentially a Countryman coupe, the Paceman is designed to appeal to “young, modern, extrovert urbanites“ that enjoy standing out from the crowd. As such, the crossover features a bold front fascia, a sloping roofline, and 19-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the four-seat cabin has leather upholstery, a full-length center rail system, and unique door panel trim. Under the hood, a turbocharged four-cylinder engine produces 155 kW (211 PS / 208 hp) and 260 Nm (192 lb-ft) of torque. It sends power to the ground through a permanent all-wheel drive system. While the Paceman is technically a concept, the company hinted it “could become another building block in the ongoing development of the brand and its product portfolio.“ Hi-Res Photos:
