Home - 24 Operation Phoenix II was the second attempted operation by Colombian drug cartels and Police to assassinate Pablo Escobar, while the first attempt ended soon after it’s inception, Phoenix II, which involved a couple dozen English mercenaries and Colombian Police pilots (and whatever the two groups wanted in terms of weapons and equipment) and got all the way to being carried out. However on the way to Pablo Escobars compound one of the transport helicopters crashed in thick fog and the plan was aborted. Apologies for the late upload, my QA department was asleep.
