The King James Bible vs. Modern Bible Versions

Are all the modern Bible versions the same? Is the NIV, ESV, NLT or the King James Bible the Word of God? Most modern day Bible scholars will lead you to believe they are all the same and that, in fact, the modern Bible perversions use superior manuscripts. But is that true? Westcott and Hort were responsible for the greatest feat in textual criticism. They were responsible for replacing the Universal Text of the Authorized Version with the Local Text of Egypt and the Roman Catholic Church. Both Wescott and Hort were known to have resented the pre-eminence given to the Authorized Version and its underlying Greek Text. They had been deceived into believing that the Roman Catholic manuscripts, Vaticanus and Aleph, were better because they were “older.“ This they believed, even though Hort admitted that the Antiochian or Universal Text was equal in antiquity. “The fundamental text of the late extant Greek MSS generally is beyond all question identical with the dominant Antiochian or Graeco-Syrian Text of the second half of the Fourth Century.“ Westcott and Hort built their own Greek text based primarily on a few uncial MSS of the Local Text. It has been stated earlier that these perverted MSS do not even agree among themselves. The ironic thing is that Westcott and Hort knew this when they formed their text! How to get to heaven... 1. The Bible says that you can KNOW for sure that you have eternal life. 1 John 5:13 says “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.“ 2. Everyone, including you and me, is a sinner. Romans 3:23 says “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;“ 3. Because we are all sinners, the penalty is death. Romans 6:23 says “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.“ 4. To get to heaven you have to be perfect and none of us are. Revelation 21:27 says “And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.“ 5. You can do nothing yourself to obtain this perfection. No amount of good works (going to church, saying a prayer, feeding the poor, turning from sin, committing your life to Christ, getting baptized, etc) will erase your sins or get you into heaven. Ephesians 2:8-9 says “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. 6. God loves YOU so much that he would rather die than live without YOU. Jesus Christ, who is God, died for ALL of your sins…past, present and future. He was buried and He rose again physically in bodily form the third day. Romans 5:8 says “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.“ 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 says “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:“ Philippians 3:9 says “And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:“ 7. Jesus Christ said that if YOU would believe that He did that for YOU that He would give you eternal life. John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” 8. The Bible says that once you believe in Jesus Christ and trust in Him ALONE that He would NEVER lose you or forsake you. You cannot lose your salvation. You can have confidence and assurance, because IF you believe in Jesus Christ, the object of your faith is NOT yourself or anything you do or promise to do, but rather Jesus Christ ALONE. He is the one that saves and keep you saved forever! John 6:37-39 says “All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.” Tags: NIV, ESV, NLT, King James Bible, Problems in the NIV, Bible Perversions, Westcott, Hort, Problems in the NKJV, New King James Version Problems, King James Holy Bible Link to original video:
