Isengard Suite | The Lord of the Rings Trilogy (Original Soundtrack) by Howard Shore

The theme for Isengard, the birthplace of the Uruk’hai and domain of Saruman the White, is one of the most striking and iconic themes from the Lord of the Rings series. Beneath it all is a five beat pattern, played on either thunderous percussion or actual anvils. The six note motif blares loudly on brass, either low and rumbling or high and mighty. Alongside the thunderous percussion and brass is metallic sound design, such as tambourines, chains, taikos, and other sounds to fully convey the industrial might of Isengard. It’s a strikingly memorable piece of music for a reason, and perfectly displays the raw strength and power of the industrialized hellscape. * = edited/rearranged TRACKLIST: 0:00 The Foot of Orthanc 1:44 The White Council (Extended Version) The Foot of Orthanc 1:51 The White Council (Extended Version) 2:02 The Voice of Saruman 3:10 Uglúk’s Warriors 3:35 The Land of Shadow Uglúk’s Warriors 3:37 The Land of Shadow 5:55 Uglúk
