Kaafi is a very well know classical Hindustani Raag, that has been used a base to infuse in it the modern melodic line led by the guitar. Composing this song through a very late night of monsoon, the smell of a freshly roasted coffee was driving us along. When we finally put the last note on the composition, it’s name was evident and came by itself.
