National Champs Race Run! Maydena.

The 2022 National Champs were held on a blown out and dust Maydena downhill track. The track conditions were deteriorating all weekend which made it hard to push the edge in a race run and unfortunately saw me go off my line before a crucial part of track that you need to hold speed on. After that I got in my own head a little and knew I had thrown it all away and couldn’t get back into a rhythm. In saying that I still felt good on the bike but just not in the same zone you need to be to be at the top of these things. My time was a 3:21 that landed me into 7th place.
