His Royal Highness, Prince Philip was also the Master of Trinity House, Lighthouse Service. As he was to be the last Master of a “Manned Lighthouse Service“ and on paper was my “Boss“ I thought that I would try my luck, and ask for an interview. Nobody was more surprised than me when he promptly agreed. I supplied my questions in advance, then drove through the Buckingham Palace gates on the date given, and was given a really nice interview in the Palace. What a Gentleman, I was really impressed as this was one very busy person. A great sense of humour and sorely missed. My grateful thanks to Edward Peppitt, for his work on restoring this soundtrack.
