Large Group Of Sunspots Is Moving Into Earth View - November 20. 2023.

A large group of sunspots, the largest of which is numbered AR 3490 continues to move into Earth view. Numerous C-Flares and one M- class solar flare have been detected so far on Monday. This region will be monitored closely as it moves into a better Earth facing position this week. There is currently a 5% chance for a major X-Class flare event. There are currently multiple filaments dancing on the surface of the sun. They take the form of the long plasma ropes across the sun that can be more than 400,000 miles (700,000 km) long, or even longer. some of then sitting, or dancing, on the sun’s limb (edge); in that case, we call them prominences.
