Micro fibres from textiles have been found everywhere on our planet. From the top of the Himalaya to both poles and the deepest trenches of the ocean. But also in indoor environments, including our homes. One third of our household dust is estimated to be microplastics! These are shed by our synthetic clothes, furniture, carpets etcetera.
