London. At the Model Engineering Exhibition we see various shots of a boy crafting a model engine wheel on a lathe and fixing it to a large model steam engine. General view of the exhibition. Several shots of model aeroplanes including the KLM Airliner ’The Flying Dutchman’, the BOAC Comet, ’Swift’, American plane ’Thunderbolt’ and Hawker Hunter. The latter is set up for a test flight inside a cage. A man strikes a match and puts it to the rear of the model; the jet is lit and the plane goes round and round the cage.
