Farmers have joined forces to compare the establishment of two trap crops, Solanum Sisymbriifolium and Solanum Scabrum, at their sites in Shrophsire and Lancashire.
Field lab coordinator, Andrew Wade (OptiGro) provides an update on how the trap crops are establishing. Key learnings are that earlier sowing, avoiding water-logged soils and higher seeding rates appear to be more successful.
