Epping Forest Aka Nature Class In Epping Forest (1968)

Epping Forest, Essex. M/S of four girls coming out of a building, each one carrying a little fox cub. The girls put the cubs down so they can drink from a bowl of milk - very cute. The girls, all from the Henry Maynard Primary Girls’ School in Waltham Forest, watch their Headmistress, Miss Davidson, bottle-feeding a little badger cub. Other girls look at a goose in an enclosure. Panning shot of animal / naturalist books by Fred Speakman on a table with animal skulls, shells and branches. Various shots show the girls out on a nature trail in Epping Forest with Fred Speakman and teachers. They have a picnic on the grass and examine leaves, deer antlers and skull, the old skin of a grass snake found on the ground.
