My first oil painting attempt, a woman in red dress.

Recently, I saw a picture of a beautiful oil painting that inspired me to start getting into world of oil painting. I don’t know the name of the artist that had originally painted this woman in red dress by using mostly a painters knife. There was a vertical writing on the side of the picture that makes me think the artist may be a Japanese or Chinese person. I would love to find out who the artist is so I can see more of his or hers beautiful art work! P.S. With the help of couple of kind YouTube users “argorussss“ and “Take5Geri“ I became aware of the original artist “Andre Kohn“ I love his style of painting! Thanks for the help!
