To recap Anime Penguin Pt. 1: Our fearless hero, Pen, is headed for the sea in order to avenge the death of his family; his navigator on this anime adventure is talkative seal, Spots. And, boy, do we mean talkative. Spots doesn’t realise that a warrior like Pen travels in silence to conserve their energy for the challenges that lie in his path. Of course, that doesn’t stop Spots from speaking his every thought. They’re a regular Antarctic odd couple, these two. Still, the seal could come in handy in the Black Crevasse of Eternal Despair, so it might be worth keeping him around. Especially with that creepy bird-woman watching. What’s her deal?
