D’bora - Dream About You

D’Bora is a House Music singer who started out as a member of the Mercedes Ladies, an obscure all-female hip-hop group/DJ crew from Bronx, New York in the early 80s, in the early years of the Golden Age of Hip-Hop. They paved the way for many female MCs today. She went solo and recorded the Electro/Dance Pop song, No Sense, in 1984. She was well known on the House Music scene during the 1990s. Her first hit was ’Dream About You’, from the album, ., which was released in 1991, and was big on the UK Dance/House charts. This song was remixed by legendary House Music DJs such as Steve Silk Hurley, Maurice Joshua, and Tony Humphries. Her second hit in the 90s was the song ’Going Round’ in 1995, which was big on the US and UK Dance/House charts.
