Belle Epoque - Bamalama

The number of times I have picked this album up from a sale bin and put it back is just crazy. But being seduced by the pink Carrerre records label and the reasonable condition it was in, I finally chanced it. Belle Epoque, or sometime La Belle Epoque were famous for the disco version of Black is Black. Essentially a one woman show with a revolving door of “backup“ singers and dancers, the band lasted 3 records from 1977 through to 1979. Bamalama was released in 1978 and I have absolutely no concept about how it was received and if anyone has even heard this at all. Yes I have committed the cardinal sin of force fading the track before it actually finished. The song is broken up into a series of medleys, with a sort of Live adjunct at the end that is best left in the aforementioned sale bin.
