Ususally, common swift birds will not do this and have to be fed manually, which requires a lot of experience by the feeding person (see our videos on “how to feed an adult swift“ and “how to feed a young swift“ for more information). However, this fella eats and drinks on its own. This video was taken at the swift clinic in Frankfurt, Germany.
