Sir Stafford Cripps On Holiday In Italy (1950)

Unused / unissued footage - dates and locations may be unknown / unclear. Sir Stafford Cripps on holiday in Italy (Lake Garda, Punta, St Vigilio) with Lady Cripps and their daughter. L/S of Cripps leaving the Hotel St Vigilio. He is given a flower by a little girl; Cripps kisses her hand. Lady Cripps comes out of the hotel and Sir Stafford gives her the flower. She sniffs it. Cripps speaks to Leonard Walsh, the English owner of the hotel, then gets into his car. Lady Cripps and their daughter follow and the car is driven off up a narrow street, followed by two police motorcyclists. Several shots of Leonard Walsh strolling along the harbour front. He chats and smiles, fills his pipe with tobacco. Cripps, his wife and daughter enter a church, followed by Walsh. Lady Cripps and daughter in summer dresses board a small boat.
