Best. Archon. Quest. Ever. I’m still thinking about it days after playing it and I just . . . XIAO 😭. His character development was amazing. This AMV is about his character development over the course of the story. Monster was about his inner demons and this is about both that and Xiao overcoming them. Around one year later, I’m going back full circle. The first AMV was more about his trauma from his former master, the atrocities he was forced to commit and the guilt he is constantly making up for. This AMV is about all aspects of his past from what we have seen, including the Yakshas, and him beginning to grow out of his trauma. I didn’t plan for this bit but oddly the “Call my name and save me from the dark“ Tweet really fits the take from a Twitter user named bledstars about how Xiao might have asked the Traveler to call his name both to be there to save them and to try not to forget his identity the way the other Yakshas did when karmic debt caugh
