Stetson And Son Issue Title Put It There (1940)

Stetson and Son. Part of issue PUT IT THERE. Exact location of events unknown - Stetson’s back garden by the look of it. Juggler extraordinaire Stetson (wearing a suit) is seen juggling top hats on and off his head in their garden (block of flats seen in the background). Then his young son (white top and shorts) has a go, putting hats on his head and back and switching them around at great speed - he’s good! Some shots of the son are in slow motion. Then Stetson does some juggling of a kind with three cigar (?) boxes - very fast and clever, but he drops them and gives up. His son picks them up and does some good ’switching’ with them, with some more slow motion shots showing his skill. There are added ’tap’ noises on the soundtrack as they bash the boxes together. His Dad looks on approvingly and puts his arm around the boy’s shoulders at the end. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ. EXPLORE OUR ONLINE CHANNEL, BRITISH PATHÉ TV.
