How to adjust route guidance in your BMW navigation system – BMW How-To

In this video, BMW How-To will show you how you can adjust the route guidance in your navigation system to your personal preferences. To configure route criteria, go to “Settings” in the navigation system and select “Route criteria”. By checking the respective boxes you can define different route settings, for example “Fast”, “Short” or “Efficient”, as well as other route criteria, like avoiding motorways. You can configure the map individually by selecting “Set up map” in the toolbar. The map view offers several settings to choose from: in direction of travel, north-oriented or perspective. Under “Set up map” you can also define different map elements to be displayed, like “Points of Interest” or “Traffic events”. By selecting “Split Screen” in the toolbar, additional information can be shown on the right side in the Control Display.
