François K - Dub Disco Style!

This show was originally livestreamed to on October 15, 2023. It covers the various ways in which dub has influenced much of the underground disco sound over the years and permeated into modern dance music. As one of those who were arguably responsible for incorporating this approach into remixing and production work, it is thrilling for me to be able to tell this tale and this will hopefully help those unfamiliar with ’dub disco’ in getting acquainted with what has been a life-long passion for me. The mix features many iconic dub disco tracks by The Idjut Boys, Rhythm&Sound, Bayara Citizens, some of my own work like what I did for D Train, Sharon Redd, and many others as well as some fully improvised Live Stems Dub Mixes of a few choices disco tracks. None of this was really planned, it just flowed and came out on its own!
