John Tavener - The Lamb (For Choir - Score video)

Sir John Kenneth Tavener (28 January 1944 – 12 November 2013) was an English composer, known for his extensive output of religious works, including The Protecting Veil, Song for Athene and The Lamb. The Lamb is a choral work by British composer John Tavener composed in 1982. It is a setting to music of the William Blake poem The Lamb from Blake’s collection of poems Songs of Innocence. It is one of Tavener’s best known works. The Lamb featured in the soundtrack for Paolo Sorrentino’s film The Great Beauty (2013, Italian: La grande bellezza).
