Whispers in the Wind is the new single taken from the forthcoming Candy Apple Blue album, Second Sight. The composition addresses drug addiction, regret, rumors, and self-realization. The lyric video pays homage to famous celebrities who died from a drug overdose. These talented people had a very real problem with substance abuse which ultimately ended their lives too soon. Its melancholy message is a tragic cautionary tale delivered with a retro 1980s dance beat. Its musical roots are inspired by early 80s new wave synth-pop bands of the era.
