Swing from Berlin (48) Komm und Tanz ! (1939)

This is my first upload since YT’s latest “improvement“.... Have to say I’m not really impressed with the new page layout.... Why HD videos are still not played in HD by default is beyond me.... This is a great recording by Ernst Weiland, also known as “Bimbo der Tricktrommler“ who performed at Berlin’s famed “Scala“ music hall... The song “Komm und tanz“ (“Come and dance“) was featured in the movie “Menschen vom Varieté“ (“Show People“), starring La Jana, Karin Hardt, Christl Mardayn, Hans Holt and Hans Moser... The video takes the song’s title quite literally and features sequences from several musicals (and a drama) made between 1936 and 1944... (See full credits at the end of the title).
